Following Your Intuition
How do you feel right now?
Are you happy?
Are you following your intution?
Try not to listen to whatever it is your mind is telling you and instead feel the emotion within your body and search your feelings. Try not to get emotions and feelings confused here either. You can be happy, joyful and at peace and still have a ‘bad feeling’ about something or someone.
Usually if you are feeling unhappy, sad or depressed it is a clear sign that it is time to make some changes. It means you have ignored following your intuition for so long that you are now in a constant state of discontent. You are most happy when you are recieving exactly what it is you desire. Needless to say you are unhappy when you do not.
If you are familiar with the law of attraction then you will know that what we think about we attract. Unfortunately due to mass media and contemporary western culture most people want to be rich and famous.
If being rich and famous is going to make you happy then the chances are your current situation is not going to get you therefore making you unhappy. This is when following your intuition comes in. Following your intuition will tell you with feeling whether or not what you desire can be achieved from your current life situation.
Think of your brain like an antenna to the universe. You put out the signal of what you want using your thoughts and emotions and then your feelings guide you there like a compass.
I think this is why you start off in a relationship really happy because at first you are receiving exactly what you desire but in general over time what you desire becomes incongruent with what you are receiving. Jobs are a great example of this. If you desire a particular job or career, you find yourself guided towards it by following your intuition until you receive it.
You then find yourself in a situation were you no longer desire that situation. If this happens there are two things you can do. Remain in the situation and change your thoughts about it ‘ie “I love this job, I want to be the best at it I can possibly be”. Or you can follow your intuition and let your feelings guide you to whatever it is you desire.
So set your intention, see it in your mind then think about it with happiness and joy and then let your feelings guide you there and until next time.
